Still time to question ‘What’s Going On’.
 
Back in May Pop Up Nottingham invited local, budding, filmmakers to get creative and make a short film inspired by the Marvin Gaye 1971 hit single ‘What’s Going On’. Now, they are pleased to announce that filmmakers have a whole extra month to do so.
 
Nottingham, England. Friday 9th August 2013 – Pop Up Nottingham is an online platform for creative people across the county.  It supports local artists from a variety of mediums, offering unique opportunities for creative individuals to participate in a variety of exciting competitions and events. The latest is a short film competition ‘What’s Going On’, which was launched back in May on the anniversary of Marvin Gaye’s album by the same name.
 

Due to popular demand, Pop Up Nottingham can now happily reveal that the August deadline has been extended to 9th September. Not only will all successful entries be uploaded to the specially designed website, the top 5 - chosen by a tough judging panel of industry experts - will be shown on the big screen.
