The annual Bang! short film festival is THIS weekend at the Broadway Cinema in Nottingham.

Set up in 1999 by filmmakers Donna Bowyer, Chris Cooke and Adam Robertson, bang! was created to provide a non-competitive, inclusive platform on which local filmmakers could see both their work and that of other film makers exhibited in a quality cinema environment and a place to network and support each other. Of equal importance was the creation of an eclectic programme of regional & international filmmaking made to a standard to attract an audience to view the short film genre.
