The World Event Young Artists (WEYA) festival is the first event of its kind, and is part of the finale to the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.
The idea is to give young artists aged between 18 and 30 the chance to showcase a piece of their work, ranging from music, dance, theatre and spoken word to film, visual art and fashion.
Nottingham was chosen to host the event in no small part due to our diverse range of arts venues. A total of 30 venues in and around City centre will play host.
From Friday 7th September 2012 until Sunday 16th September 2012, the city will be alive with young, vastly international, creative talent. Ensure that you soak up some of the atmosphere.
