is a FREE festival that will take place over the weekend of Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 July 2012 at The National Watersports Centre in Nottingham. Everyone is welcome to come along to the extravaganza, which forms part of the National ‘Big Dance’ campaign week, the UK’s biggest ever celebration of dance.
Dance4 in partnership with the Big Dance East Midlands Partnership has commissioned the widely acclaimed, ever popular New Art Club to choreograph an extraordinary performance which will be the highlight of the Sunday line up.
Often described as the Reeves and Mortimer of dance, choreographers Pete Shenton and Tom Roden have selected groups and performers from around the region to perform in their comedy cabaret spectacular. The company will transform the white water course into an outdoor amphitheatre, creating an extravaganza based around Greek mythology of the 12 Labours of Hercules, with performances at 1pm and 4pm.
